About Us

Our Philosophy

Here at Yorkshire Animal Therapy our aim is simple; to provide the highest standards of care to our patients. This includes rehabilitation, pain management and conditioning and strengthening plans. Due to our veterinary based background, we recognise the real importance of a multidisciplinary team, that is why we actively encourage a strong veterinary involvement in all of our cases, working with your veterinary surgeon to achieve optimal patient care. We also encourage a team approach, involving other paraprofessionals.

Why We Are Different

Every customer is unique. That’s why we customise every one of our treatments and rehabilitation plans to fit you and your animals needs exactly. Whether it’s a routine treatment or a lengthy rehabilitation plan, we’ll listen to your requests and prepare a customised plan.

“I contacted Dominique for my senior Labrador for help and advice for her ageing mobility issues. From the initial visit she provided me with the knowledge, exercises and lifestyle changes to help her improve muscle and movement in the comfort of her own home. Her follow up sessions have already started to show improvement in her muscle and strength.”

“Dominique is not only kind and lovely to me and my dogs but also very skilled. Keeps them moving and looking good. Wilson my cocker goes to sleep after treatment, which is very unusual because he's totally mental normally. I feel confident in her hands. As dog owners we should look to physio more to help, as we do as humans.”
